An emergency parking ban will be in effect Wednesday, 4/3 from 9 PM until Friday, 4/5 at 9 AM. No parking is permitted on any city street during this time. Lots at Waterman Dr., the Bug Light Boat Launch & Willow St. are available for temporary parking. Cars must be moved from these lots by 9 AM on Friday, 4/5.
Thursday, 4/4 trash and recycling collection is postponed until Friday, 4/5. Friday's route will be collected on Saturday, 4/6.
The Transfer Station will be closed on Thursday, 4/4.
All pre-registered Parks & Rec programming and facility rentals scheduled for Thursday, April 4 are canceled, including:
- Unified Sports
- Strictly Strength
- Mix it Up
- Family Bingo Night
- Adult Basketball Leagues
- All swim lessons
- Little League rental at Redbank
- Community Meeting rental at Redbank
Community Center drop-in programs (Teen Center, Senior Center, Pickleball, Lap Swimming) will remain on as planned ONLY if City buildings remain open on Thursday, April 4. A notice will be posted at the top of the website if City buildings close, in which case the Community Center will be closed and these programs will be canceled.
The Library will also be closed if City buildings close.
Bus Service will operate on a delayed schedule.
- Rt 21. - First pickup will be Ocean and Sawyer at 8:00 am.
- Rt 24A - First pickup will be Redbank (Inbound) at 7:00 am
- Rt 24B - First pickup will be Redbank (Inbound) 7:55 am
If weather conditions make it unsafe to operate, additional delays may be implemented, or service may be canceled. All riders should minimize travel if possible and/or plan for backup transportation.
