The South Portland Swap Shop, located at the Transfer Station (929 Highland Ave), is a space where South Portland residents can donate or pick up household items for free. The Swap Shop is generally open Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, mid-April through November (depending on volunteer availability).
The Sustainability Department is looking for Swap Shop volunteers this season for Thursday mornings, Friday afternoons, Saturday afternoons, and occasional fill-in shifts. For more information or to express interest, email Robyn Landes, AmeriCorp Resilience Fellow, at rlandes@southportland.gov.
