Are you handy or good at repairing? We need your help! The City of South Portland's Waste Reduction Committee is hosting a Repair Fair January 25, 2025 at the Main South Portland Library.
The Committee is looking for volunteers who can help repair clothing, electronics, lamps, furniture, jewelry, small appliances, and sharpen tools, among other things. If you have an expertise in repairing an item not mentioned, please reach out as well!
Our goal is to help our community learn how simple many repairs can be and that there are local experts within our community willing to help. If you are interested in lending your expertise to our program please email Susan Parmelee at sparmelee@southportland.org and include your repair skill(s).
