The following City Boards, Committees and Commissions are seeking youth representatives. Apply Today: onboard.southportland.org/apply

Public Arts Committee - Promotes and develope artistic and cultural activities and initiatives that advance the quality of life and vibrancy of the City.  Filled

Human Rights Commisssion - Provides support for the people of South Portland, specifically marginalized groups, in order to build community; provide education and training; celebrate diversity and inclusion; increase community engagement; and review policies and provide policy recommendations

Conservation Commission - Acts as a research, advisory and advocacy group on environmental issues relating to the city. Including, but not limited to keeping an index of all open areas within the city and recommending programs for the better protection, development or use of those areas; prepare and distribute books, maps, charts, pamphlets, etc. that is pertinent; promotion of its open space and park plans.

Comprehensive Plan Committee - Serves as a guide for the decisions the City must make about growth, development, redevelopment, and change over the coming decade.

    City Clerk's Office and Finance Office remain open until 6 pm on Tuesdays.
