The City offers heating assistance to those in need. Heating help is available through General Assistance for those who qualify, and also through the City's donor-funded Heating Assistance Fund. If you'd like to support keeping neighbors warm this winter, consider a contribution to our Heating Assistance Fund. Make your check payable to the City of South Portland with "Heating Assistance Fund" in the memo line, and send to: South Portland Social Services Dept., PO Box 9422, South Portland, ME 04116-9422. Donations are tax-deductible.
