Cottage Road Traffic & Safety
Under the auspices of the South Portland Bicycle-Pedestrian Committee, a group of residents, business people, City staff, and others worked through the winter of 2017/2018 to develop recommendations to the City Council for improving pedestrian safety, traffic movements, and related concerns associated with Cottage Road, roughly from Mitchell Street to Edgewood Road.

Historic Preservation
On July 16, 2019, City Council adopted Ordinances 1-19/20 and 2-19/20 to support the preservation of historic sites and structures in the City of South Portland.

Knightville Fore and Aft
At the request of City Council, The Comprehensive Plan Implementation Committee (CPIC) worked to update the land use policies for Knightville, a historic village in the City's downtown area.
