NOTICE is hereby given that the South Portland Planning Board will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Monday, December 23rd, 2024 to hear an application by Wicked Pickle, LLC for an amended site plan and special exception to construct an indoor pickleball facility at 2401 Broadway. The property is located within the General Commercial (CG) zoning district and the Mall / Airport neighborhood. This meeting will begin at 6:30 PM and will be held in the City Council Chambers of City Hall at 25 Cottage Road, South Portland. The meeting will be hosted in a hybrid format to allow remote access via Zoom virtual meeting software. NOTICE is hereby given that the South Portland Planning Board will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Monday, December 23rd, 2024 to hear an application by New Gen Group, LLC for a Site Plan amendment to construct a five-story, multi-family residential structure containing 80 apartment units with a variety of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units, associated parking, and site improvements for stormwater and access management. The project includes improvements in the Westbrook Street right-of-way to establish a more controlled entrance to the property, and add a sidewalk network into the site. The existing site is partially developed with an existing hotel and restaurant.  The property is located within the Main Street Commercial-Residential (MSCR) Zoning District, the Thornton Heights Neighborhood, and the Main St Corridor (South End), Highway Commercial Services Key Land Use Area of the Comprehensive Plan.  This meeting will begin at 6:30 PM and will be held in the City Council Chambers of City Hall at 25 Cottage Road, South Portland.
