Workshop - Discussion with Local Legislative Delegation About Upcoming Session and Property Tax Relief
On September 3, 2024, the City Council passed a resolution calling on our state legislative delegation - Sen. Anne Carney, Rep. Chris Kessler, Rep. Deqa Dhalac, and Rep. Matthew Beck - to enact meaningful property tax reform/relief during the upcoming session. The Mayor invited our delegation to the meeting so they can discuss their goals for the upcoming session, and respond to the City Council's request for action on property tax reform/relief.
