The Cottage Road Project (official title: Pedestrian and Safety Improvements and Mill and Overlay) is located along Cottage Road beginning at the intersection of Highland Avenue and extending east 0.98 miles. The work includes the mill and overlay of Cottage Road, construction of new concrete sidewalk with associated curb, drainage improvements, installation of two rectangular rapid flashing beacons, and other incidental work. Traffic delays can be expected throughout construction. There will be single lane closures during paving, utility work, and occasionally during sidewalk work. Two way traffic will be maintained to the greatest extent practicable. We recommend seeking alternate routes. Project is estimated to be complete by the end of June 2023.
