Why work for local government?

This page contains current position vacancies for the City of South Portland, unless otherwise noted, a City of South Portland employment application form is required for all jobs listed.  The application may be downloaded from this page, completed on your own computer, and mailed, emailed or hand delivered to the Human Resources Department.

Applications and job descriptions may also be obtained from the Human Resource’s Office in the City of South Portland’s City hall. 

Completed, original applications must be received by the Human Resources department by the deadline stated in any position’s posting.  Completed applications, along with resume, cover letter and other supporting documents, may be returned or delivered by US Mail or in person to the:
