Art In The Park 2020 Cancelled
After much consideration and thought our committee has regretfully come to the decision that the prudent course for us to take is to cancel the 2020 Art in the Art in the Park Show & Sale so that we can protect the public, protect the public health of all who would be planning to participate as exhibitors or attendees at the show. The logistics to set up the show require significant advanced planning on the part of many individuals and organizations and in fairness to all of them it is necessary that we make this decision at this time. This decision has been held until the last possible moment in the hopes the public health situation would improve and regulations governing limitations on public gatherings might also allow for larger groups . While things are progressing forward, with 60 days until the show, it is at this time unclear they will have progressed to the point where it would be feasible or appropriate to move forward. We wish all of you good health and a good summer and we look forward to seeing all of you on August 14, 2021.
As previously stated, full refunds will be issued beginning the week of June 15th. If you prefer to have your payment applied towards the 2021 show we can certainly do that for you as well as reserve your same spot. In an effort for some portion of the 2020 show to withstand the cancellation, the Committee is awarding the Arthur Hahn Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to a very deserving South Portland High School graduate. If you would like to support the Committee’s awarding the scholarship, you can apply some of your refund towards that end.
